City of Edmond Seeks Applications for Non-Profit Funding Assistance

The City of Edmond’s Community Agency Review Commission (CARC) is now accepting applications from eligible non-profits for 2018 funding assistance. The commission annually reviews applications from Edmond agencies providing valuable services to the community.

“The role of the CARC is extremely valuable to our community,” said Mayor Charles Lamb. “This funding truly makes a difference for many residents through the work done by the recipient agencies.”

To be eligible for funding consideration, an agency must be directly engaged in charitable, educational, health, social services, community enrichment, or related activities that provide a direct and distinct benefit to the city and its residents. Additionally, an agency must be located within the Edmond City Limits, and primarily serve persons residing in Edmond. To determine if your location is in the Edmond City Limits, please visit

The application is currently available at, and must be submitted by 5 pm on Friday, December 29th for consideration.

The CARC was created by the Edmond City Council and signed into ordinance in May 1984. $916,495 in total funding was approved for local agencies in 2017.
