As a reminder, the City of Edmond participates in a mandatory year-round regional water conservation plan with other Oklahoma City water customers in the metro area. Edmond is currently in Stage 1 of the plan, but water conservation stages can change at any time.
You can readily access and monitor the current stage at http://edmondwater.com/cu. Additionally, you can find lots of free resources there to help you conserve water and save money.
Edmond’s daily water use is typically 10 to 11 million gallons per day (MGD). During summer peak use, that amount can climb to more than 25 MGD.
Along with the City of Edmond, other customer cities include Norman, Moore, Piedmont, El Reno, Yukon, Mustang, Blanchard, and the Deer Creek water district.
