Saturday, October 31st is designated for Halloween activities in the City of Edmond. Both children and adults that choose to participate are asked to limit the time of activities to the late afternoon and early evening hours for pedestrian safety. However, the city does not set an official start and finish time frame. In regard to COVID-19 safety, individuals will need to choose whether they wish to participate in traditional trick-or-treating activities. The CDC has placed this activity in the “higher risk” category for virus transmission, and more information can be found at https://cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holidays.html. Based upon their recommendations, the following tips can make participation safer for everyone.
