  1. National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine - New World Symphony by Dvorak

    Formed by the Council of Ministers of Ukraine in November of 1918, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine is considered to be one of the finest symphony orchestras in Eastern Europe and is the leading symphonic organization of the nation of Ukraine. With a formidable repertoire, it is the most recorded orchestra located in any former Soviet territory. In their Armstrong program, this distinguished ensemble displays its brilliance, warmth, and expressive versatility in splendid works by Wagner, Prokofiev and Dvorak. They appear with Kiev-born pianist Alexei Grynyuk, who won first prizes at the Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition in Kiev and the Shanghai International Piano Competition in China.
