  1. Oklahoma City's Survivor Tree

    April 20, 2017, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Touchmark at Coffee Creek

    An American elm tree that survived the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building and was restored became known as The Survivor Tree and a symbol of hope. Mark Bays, Urban Forestry Coordinator for Oklahoma Forestry Services, will be giving a presentation on the special story of the recovery of The Survivor Tree and its ongoing care that began in 1996. There is no charge, but seating is limited. RSVP by April 19 at 405-340-1975.
