Visual Arts Commission
It consists of nine voting members including a member of City Council, the Director of the Historical Society, and a member of the Edmond Arts and Humanities Council. Each member serves a 3-year term.
The purpose of this commission is to administer the provisions of Chapter 2.94 of the Edmond Municipal Code ("Art in Public Places"). Chapter 2.94: To provide a means for the selection, display, and maintenance of art for the City of Edmond's collection and to acquire, by purchase or donation, works of art for the City's collection. Commission meets the 4th Wednesday of the month, 5:15pm at the Downtown Community Center, 28 E. Main St.
