What is Edmond's sales tax rate?

The sales tax rate in Edmond is 7.75%. Of that 4.5% goes to the State of Oklahoma. The City of Edmond receives 3.25% which is used for general fund, public safety, parks, and capital improvements. Following is the how the 3.25% is used to serve our citizens:

2 cents     General Fund (city operations such as street maintenance)
1/4 cent    Public Safety - Fire
1/8 cent    Public Safety - Police
1/8 cent    Parks
3/4 cent    Capital Improvement Projects

Where can I pay my property taxes, or file my homestead exemption?

Property taxes are paid to the Oklahoma County Assessor's office, which is located in the Downtown Community Center at 28 East Main. You can also file for homestead exemption in county assessor's office.

Does the Treasurer’s office issue City of Edmond licenses and permits?

Depending on what type of permit you need, you will contact either the Building Services Department (building/construction permits) or the City Clerk's office (food handlers and liquor licenses, solicitor's permits, bail bondsmen permits).
