The Human Resources (HR) Department is dedicated to providing quality HR services to attract, develop, motivate, and retain a productive and diverse workforce within a supportive work environment by: 
  • Attracting and hiring through comprehensive human resources selection and planning
  • Providing friendly, trustworthy service to all internal and external customers
  • Providing sustainable benefit products and services responsive to and valued by employees
  • Retaining qualified employees through training and recognition programs

General Employment Information
The city offers positions in these categories:
  • Full Time
  • Regular Part Time - Average of 20 hours per week
  • Part Time One - Average of 20-32 hours per week
  • Part Time Two - Average of 32-40 hours per week
  • Seasonal - Varied hours, duration of seven months or less depending on departmental needs
