Live Bee Hive to be featured at Fall Garden and Produce Market Saturday

Honey Farm Representatives Promote Health Benefits of Honey

This Saturday the Fall Garden and Produce Market welcomes Cripple Creek Farms Honey who will have an observation hive on display. Visitors can learn about the display and the Italian Honeybees that live in the hive.

Representatives will be on hand to answer any questions and explain the health benefits of consuming raw honey such as assisting in the prevention of seasonal allergies. Local raw honey, honeystix and bee pollen will be available for purchase.

The Fall Garden and Produce Market runs every Saturday in October from 9am to 1pm. The market offers a variety of pumpkins and squash, decorative produce, baked goods, Oklahoma raised beef and lamb, late season tomatoes, a variety of vegetables and fall colored plants such as pansies and mums.
