Route 66 and Farmers Market Festival Saturday, June 14

The second annual Route 66 and Farmers Market Festival

The second annual Route 66 and Farmers Market Festival is Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Festival Market Place in downtown Edmond. The festival was created to highlight farmers markets on Route 66 and is free to attend.

Edmond’s Farmers Market will feature fresh-picked produce at the peak of summer flavor. A variety of “Made in Oklahoma” products and Route 66 items will be available as well as Black Angus Beef and local honey.

The Rock Island Band will perform live music for the festival. Antique tractors will be displayed by the Central Oklahoma Antique Tractor Club of Cashion. Face painting and other children’s activities make the event one for the entire family.

“Hosting this event on Father’s Day weekend is a great way to get fathers and families out to enjoy the Festival Market Place, one of Edmond’s most popular event venues,” said Summer Terrell, Special Venues Coordinator for Edmond Parks and Recreation.

Edmond Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through September 27.
