Annual Eagle Watch
Dress warmly and bring your binoculars. Begin at the Arcadia Lake Park Office to receive information about where the eagles can be spotted. Project Office has a Bald Eagle and raptor wingspan displays. Our 2008 Eagle Watch is an Official Oklahoma Centennial Event.
When: Friday – Sunday, January 4, 5, 6, 2008
Time: Anytime between 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Where: Park Office, 9000 E 2nd Street (approximately 3 ½ miles east of I-35 on Rt. 66)
Cost: $3 per vehicle (Half-Price Park Entry!)
Kids All-American Fishing Derby
Kids age 5 – 15 may enter this free event on Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Spring Creek Park. Kids start fishing at 8 a.m. Final weigh-in is 11 a.m. Prizes are awarded at noon. Bring bait, fishing equipment, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and lawn chair. Concessions and worms will be for sale at the event site. Kids may register at 7:30 a.m. Parents must accompany children.

Arcadia Lake Sweep
This Arcadia Lake clean-up event will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008, 9 a.m. – Noon, Spring Creek Park. Participants will receive a t-shirt (while supplies last) and hot dog lunch. Please bring your own gloves. Trash bags and clean-up assignments are given at registration table.

Storybook Forest
Kids and their parents are invited to walk through Storybook Forest to collect candy from Storybook characters and see wonderful Storybook scenes. Fee includes hayride, game area and walk down “trick or treating” trail. Refreshments are for sale as well as hotdogs and marshmallows to roast over an open fire.

Arcadia Lake Deer Harvest Management
Deer Harvest drawing will take place at 1 p.m. on August 20, 2008 for Archery Hunters only. Season begins October 1 and runs into December 2007. Buddy hunters are allowed to hunt with you on your zone. 25 zones are available. Remaining hunts are available for purchase anytime after the drawing. Contact the Arcadia Lake Deer Harvest Information Line (405) 216-7481 for updates.
