The Edmond Fire Department is committed to the preservation of the quality of life in our community, which includes the well-being of our residents, businesses and visitors. We strive to provide quality and efficient service to you as we fulfill our role to preserve life and property and to promote your safety.
So that we can respond rapidly when you need us, we operate out of five geographically-sensitive locations. We maintain a high standard of training and education for our employees and we focus on utilizing cutting edge technology that allows us to better serve you.
Our Fire Prevention and Fire Safety education programs help meet the needs of our community through safety presentations, fire drills, station tours and child car seat installations. We also offer several programs for our residents such as providing and installing regular smoke alarms, smoke alarms for the hearing impaired and carbon monoxide detectors.
