Volunteer With Urban Forestry This Spring

Urban Forestry’s Volunteer Program will return on February 27th with numerous opportunities for Edmond residents to get involved with planting trees, enhancing landscapes, and providing tree care in the form of a very beneficial application of mulch. Never participated in these activities before? That’s okay! Each event will include an introduction to the project facilitated by Edmond Urban Foresters, who are always on hand to assist volunteers during the event.

The spring event schedule is now available on our Volunteer page, and signup pages will be linked there a few weeks in advance of each event. Urban Forestry will continue to provide complimentary work gloves for volunteers, and participants at each event are included in a drawing for a door prize.

2020 Arbor Week will take place from March 23-28, and the celebration will include the recognition of this year’s Volunteer Group of the Year Award! There is still time to get your organization in the running by participating in Urban Forestry’s scheduled volunteer events. Find out more about the Volunteer Group of the Year Award.
