Citizens Police Academy

The Citizen's Police Academy is a free 11 week series of classes that is designed to enhance relationships with community members by familiarizing academy participants with the Edmond Police Department, its policies, and practices.
The intent of the Citizen Police Academy is not to train citizens to become police officers, but to show participants first hand the daily responsibilities and expectations of the occupation of police officers and other police staff. Participants ask questions, discuss issues, and view demonstrations.
