City Council Returns to In-Person Meetings

With the expiration of the State's amendment to the Open Meeting Act that allowed virtual meetings, the Edmond City Council will resume in person meetings this Monday, November 23. The meeting will begin at 5:30 in the Council Chambers at 20 S. Littler.

The following measures are in place to best protect those in attendance:

- Limited seating capacity with distancing measures clearly marked.  All others attending after we reach capacity can watch the meeting in overflow space at the Downtown Community Center.  We will make sure that anyone in overflow that is planning to speak on an item has the opportunity to do so in the meeting.

- Proper face coverings will be required in both the Council Chambers and overflow space. Masks will be provided for those that need one.

One item of note on the agenda is extending the current ordinance related to required face coverings that expires on November 30, 2020.
