Work to resurface a one-mile section of Coltrane Road, between 2nd Street and Danforth Road, began Monday, Nov. 8 and is expected to take up to three weeks, with cooperative weather.
During the mill and overlay work, the roadway will remain open, but traffic will be reduced to one lane and flaggers will be in place to help facilitate traffic. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to find an alternate route if possible. Access to homes and businesses along the roadway will remain available during this work.
This resurfacing is part of the scheduled 2020-21 Mill & Overlay projects for the City of Edmond. Atlas Paving is the contractor for these projects with a total cost of $2,432,082.00.
