As soon as you decide on a date, you should call and check availability. The larger room often books months in advance. You can reserve the room by paying just the deposit, then rental fees are due 2 weeks before the rental date. However, the Downtown Community Center will rent on short notice if the room and staff are available for a short notice event.
You will need to end your event in time to remove tables, stack chairs, collect all decorations and belongings, vacuum and be ready to leave by the end of the contracted rental time. 10:30 p.m. is the latest time you can contract to rent.
